Plan Descriptions

For Advantage Plans:

Advantage plans are separated by 3 categories HMO, PPO, and POS. Some plans do not come with drug coverage. Make sure you have creditable drug coverage before choosing a plan without drug coverage. Advantage plans also have copays or coinsurance for most doctor visits. If you are not sure about your drug coverage or if you have a questions about your doctors network please call me.

HMO’s are in network only plans. If you go to a doctor outside your plans network you will pay 100% of the cost.

PPO’s are in and out of network plans. If you decide to go out of network you might pay more for your visit. Your MOOP (max out of pocket) may also be higher.

POS’s are in and out of network plans. you can go anywhere that accepts Medicare and the cost stays the same.

For Medigap/ Supplement plans:

All Medicare Supplement plans are the same basic plan with the same riders/ options. If you have questions about these riders please call me.
